My 2nd trip to North Berwick was in January staying at the lovely Puffin Palace and my 3rd trip just recently staying at the wonderful Puffin Lookout. Not only are these two flats warm and welcoming but they have the best view in town of the beach, the sunrise and bass rock; and with the windows cracked the symphony of the ocean's rising and falling tide will relax you right to sleep. The flats are bright, have fabulous windows in the main living room, are open with high ceilings, everything you need in the kitchen, extremely spacious with nice bathrooms and well appointed. In fact, there were several evenings when my cousin and I decided to simply sit in front of the two large windows in the living room with a bottle of wine and a simple dinner instead of going out to a restaurant simply because there isn't a restaurant with a view and nice as these two flats - Dee Ann June 2019
Puffin’s lookout is a lovely flat, with an amazing sea view. It was very peaceful and in a great location right on the beachfront, with the town centre and train station both within walking distance. The flat was very clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds. We travelled with a toddler and there were lots of things to keep her busy, like buckets, spades, fishing nets, books etc. I would highly recommend a stay here. - Claudia June 2019
We stayed 5 nights in Puffins Lookout, a beautiful, light, well equipped 2 bed apartment, with an amazing window seat looking out all across the bay. Perfectly situated for local tourist activities, right on the beach, amazing boat trips especially for wildlife lovers from the Seabird Centre, and within easy distance of two super castles, and a great area for walking and golf. Handy train station in town means Edinburgh beckons too. Apartment tastefully styled to a high standard with full working kitchen, I now need to buy my son a blender, really! Sumptuous beds with plenty of bedding I.e. Extra pillows, blankets, not that we needed. Visit from the landlord to check we were okay whilst there. - Sarah May 2019
