Fantastic family holiday flat!

We stayed at the Puffin Palace recently and had a wonderful time. Our group consisted of 4 adults, 2 kids and one toddler and we found the space well suited to us. We loved the style of the decor and the view over the beach is unbeatable. The location is ideal, everything is within walkable distance. John the host was very attentive and thoughtful. Lovely flat by the sea

We stayed in Puffins Palace for a week over Easter. The flat was very well furnished and had a very homely feel to it. The beds were comfortable and my two boys loved staying in the small bunk bed room. There was everything we needed for our stay with towels, mini toiletries, lots of kitchen equipment and even buckets and spades, wind breaker and fishing net provided.  The flat is directly across the road from the beach so the views from the front of the flat were beautiful. It was also great to be able to get down to the beach in less than a minute! The views of Berwick Law from the back bedroom were also lovely.  John the owner was very helpful and answered any queries we had very quickly. He also kindly posted on a jacket we had left behind - Deborah May 2019

Excellent apartment, right next to the beach

Puffin's Palace is in one of the best locations in North Berwick - right next to the beach. The flat is immaculate, warm, comfortable and quiet and is very well equipped. The sitting room window has a fantastic view over the beach and out to Bass Rock. - Syl April 019

BY RAIL

From North Berwick Railway Station follow the signs to  “Scottish Seabird Centre” which lead you down to the High Street. Once you get to the Seabird Centre, Puffins Palace is around the corner in 16 Melbourne Road.

 

BY BUS

The 124, X24 and X25 buses from Edinburgh and 120, 121, 125, 126 and 127 local service buses all stop at the nearest bus stop on Church Road off North Berwick High Street. Follow signs for Seabird Centre, Puffins Palace is around the corner in 16 Melbourne Road

 

BY CAR

From Glasgow and the West - Join the M8 to Edinburgh, continue on the City Bypass A720 Eastbound then take the A1 South signposted to Berwick. Exit at Bankton Junction for the A198 following signs to North Berwick. Travel through Longniddry, Aberlady and Gullane to North Berwick.

 

From South and East - Follow A1 North. Exit at Thirstly Cross roundabout onto the A199. After 1 mile turn right onto the A198 to North Berwick.

 

On entering North Berwick, on the A198 follow signs first to the Town Centre, then to the Harbour and Scottish Seabird Centre.  Puffins Palace (16 Melbourne Road) is around the corner from the Seabird Centre.

There is free parking outside the flat day and night. There is additional parking in side streets Balfour Street & School Road.
