BY RAIL

From North Berwick Railway Station follow the signs to “Town Centre” and “Scottish Seabird Centre” which lead you down to the High Street. At the far (east) end of the High Street turn left on the Quality Street for 30m. The door to Puffins Retreat is just before the Cucina Amore restaurant.

 

BY BUS

The 124, X24 and X25 buses from Edinburgh and 120, 121, 125, 126 and 127 local service buses all stop at the nearest bus stop on Church Road off North Berwick High Street. Quality Street is 300m away at the end of the High Street.

 

BY CAR

The satnav address: 35 Quality Street, EH39 4HR. If approaching from the East e.g. from Dunbar follow the signs to the Scottish Seabird Centre and you will pass through Quality Street by turning right at the roundabout next to Alanda’s Gelateria ice cream parlour. Puffins Retreat is 80m from the roundabout on the left-hand side. If approaching from the West, e.g. from Edinburgh /Gullane, follow the signs to the Scottish Seabird Centre all the way through North Berwick down to the beach until the end of Forth Street. Turn right on to Quality Street. Puffins Retreat is 20mm on the right.

 

PARKING

There is free parking outside the flat but beware of the 45-minute time restriction on Quality Street. There is a 4 hours restriction a few yards away on Victoria Street toward the Seabird Centre but the public carpark on Quality Street is unlimited.
